Our monthly meeting of Moodle Minds was held at Sydney Boys High School and was hosted by Paul Ganderton from the Social Science faculty.

Three important developments were shared:

1. Microsoft Office add-in that can send files directly to Moodle and receive files from Moodle
2. Release of Moodle 1.9.8, including security fixes
3. An upcoming community event called MoodleCamp Sydney - being held in June. MoodleCamp is a free BarCamp style one day conference on Moodle. All welcome to register their interest on the MoodleCamp website.

• Sydney Boys High has been using Moodle for 2-3 years
• 930+ courses currently delivered in Moodle each year
• Teachers use Moodle to say "I want this by then" and students respond by taking ownership over the delivery
• Higher School Certificate forum each year is the hottest forum on the site - asking questions about exam questions
• Book module is one of the favourite modules for Paul to deliver content
