Our monthly meeting of Moodle Minds was held at Cronulla High School.

Cathie Cashmere demonstrated many aspects of grading in Moodle such as Groups, Gradebook, Aggregation, Grade Report and Exporting of Grades. Cathie also told us about Exabis which is an e-portfolio module in moodle. With this module students can create portfolio with links, files and notes and share there e-portfolio using views.

Spotlight: Using Moodle in the Library by Rhett and Linda from Moorefields Girls High School

Some details from the presentation:

• Librarian is doing a great job in referencing resources for particular syllabus areas for each year group
• There is a book club course
• Professional Learning module so that staff who do TPL can put details of courses attended in Moodle
• OH&S Section for forms for reporting of issues and a submission tool to OH&S Committee
• Staff Help Section uses Captivate for How To's
• Managed to Link Moodle the PaperCut (version 10) so users can login, choose printer and print from devices. Rhett has promissed to provide details of how to do this at a future SMUG meeting.
